Lama on horseback

When driving through the sand dunes a Lama and his entourage appeared within moments one of his protectors galloped up on horseback to our truck and just stood there motionless for a few minutes - not saying anything - just looking and observing. Then he rode off. The Lama continued, without stopping on his way to a temple somewhere in the mountains.
